Did I get shafted? Panini replacement on nice Shaq! and others...
Hi guys,
I had many replacements for some items which I had been waiting for 1-3 years on and thought I should clear out some clutter in my redemption list. I had a good conversation with a panini main rep Robert and it all went nicely over a period of a month and thought ok lets see what the offer. There was no offer, just a straight replacement... I think you did OK from the 2nd card on.
The Shaq replacement is a robbery. Higher print run, cheaper set, no patch and a slightly cheaper player.

Shaq replacement is horrible. The rests are not bad.

This is the issue if you try to replace multiple cards at once. Im sure the value of the shaq is divided between the rest of the cards as well.

hi everyone,
thanks for confirming my thoughts. The Khalil is a rare card, I know its worth something but I like Saric so its ok. I have gone back to Robert Emerich to let him know about the Shaq and the discrepancy in value as its easy to demonstrate. I have asked to do 2 things: 1) Refund the Giannis completely or 2) get another card which will compensate the value of the Shaq and call it a day. Anyone have some ideas of what cards Panini has a lot of in stock which could be a good replacement addition to the Giannis? Any feedback will be helpful as if its an easy thought process for them for a replacement then it would make it easier to process my request. Seriously, Panini shafted me this time! |

They are scam artists. No 2 ways about it.
They hold Giannis in such high regard. They really just value these cards like they are company assets, and each trade they make that they can profit on is more profit for the company. When I went to get a replacement for my 2013-14 Giannis Gold Standard, I got a response that they had no other Giannis cards left for possible replacements. Low & behold you get one here, and many other people have got them. Such a backwards company. |

Yikes, I have three pending Shaq redemptions and one is the jersey number one too - it's a card I want so bad. I emailed and tweeted a week ago to replace the other two and nobody has even responded. If that's the level of replacement I'm glad they haven't!!

Wow, that shaq was replaced by Giannis?...that is ridiculous....I wouldn't accept that, yes correct Giannis is young and prospectus but...still you got robbed mate....

Side question kind of off topic. I pulled a Hakeem auto from pinnacle that expired. Do I go straight to their social media to get it redeemed? And do I still enter it on the website?
