Is it just me or is this the worst design of a high end card by Topps in quite some time? I mean, it looks like a glorified Donruss Signature Series Football knockoff. They just look terrible.

They are a bit hokey but the low numbered parallels have a nice rainbow foil. The autos are kind of tough to see over the foil though.

Those base autographs are really hard to see on the foil.

Topps needs to hire some collectors for quality control.

I know that over the scan, autos look tough to see on foil, but is it the same when you actually hold it in person?
I personally don't think the design of this product is that bad, but agree the QC is terrible.
I also have seen multiple autos where the players are signing above the foil, on their player image instead.
Though that might turn out to be better for some people, it shows that Topps isn't really "witnessing" these autograph signings or having control over the consistency of their product.

I think you're suppose to hold it up to a warm light bulb and the lemon juice changes color.
