Angry Why does Panini Suck SOOOOOOOOOO Much!!!!!

So I just called them because I was curious about one of my redemption request from about 6 months ago that I havent received. While im on the phone I thought id ask about my account. The lady proceeded to tell me I have a redemption request from 2013!!!!! I still havent got my card that I put a request in 5 years ago!!!!!! Not only that but just the fact that they never contacted me in 5 years! How do they get away with stuff like that???
Has anyone else had problems like this with them??

Because you did not request a replacement.

Topps would have sent you a $1 jersey card and a $.25 autograph and said thanks.

Depending on player they may or may not have signed the cards or like one MLB player for Topps is refusing to sign certain cards because he doesn't like his pictures.

Sounds more like something you should keep track of. Don’t get me wrong, Panini has their flaws, but you’re just as responsible for forgetting about your five year old redemption.

Exactly.

They don't have time to babysit every redemption and if they did it would result in them pulling a Topps like I said.

I did put a request in thats the thing. I had called their customer service so many times. Always asking for a call back or something and nothing. I never got anything. They really seem to never help me.

My LCS owner has about 100 redemptions outstanding, and she noticed a couple months ago that some of the older ones fell off her account. Just disappeared. She called and got it resolved, but got no explanation as to why it happened. I gave up on messing with redemptions altogether. Just sell and buy something live.

This.

That's why they have their online database for redemptions. They have such a high volume of requests that they simply don't have the time or resources to reach out to each person that does not follow through on their requests.

Don't get me wrong, Panini is bad, but that just means the buyers have to be extra vigilant in getting what's theirs.

If you did put in multiple calls that went unnoticed, then you just have to keep being persistent. It sucks but the redemption process has always been terrible even dating back to Topps/UD.

So which is it....you forgot the card...or you made many request.

Sounds like your being a drama queen, possibly just making something up. Like, for example, you haven't even noted what the card was.

Panini does suck, they've got a monopoly and they do not really have time to worry about each redemption. That being said, this is probably on the low part of the list as to why they are terrible lol

Who the player is may or may not matter. For example, we know the history of many older redemption problems.

It is very unusual to have a redemption story...and ignore what the card is. It is even more unusual to change your story within 10 minutes, which is more the OP's credibility problem here. I even ignored the I called many times and told them to call me line. I guess that's possible if it was 1am every time he called, but it would be strange to talk to CS workers, repeatedly, and ask them to call you. Would it not be more logical to just to just tell the CS what you wanted? It doesn't mean OP is wrong...his response does draw flags however.

A screenshot is a very simple thing. I have no problem admitting when I am wrong.

I got screwed too...Topps sent me a Davante Adams Rookie Auto #ed/10 for a Carlos Hyde Auto #ed/75. Wait a minute... they actually sent me an upgrade.

Don't believe everything you hear...Topps treats us poor folks good. Only those with high end redemptions get screwed.

"That's the thing - I requested a replacement" - So, you didn't actually forget.

I think this one is on you. You should know what you have in redemptions. Also - changing the story that fast? Yikes.
