Default Is There A “Best Day” for Listing Cards to Sell?

I’m thinking about listing some cards to sell on eBay but I was hoping the community could help me out with some insight on what days are “best” to post an auction or have an auction end? How many days for an auction to last? Or would a straight “buy it now” be better? I won’t be really listing any high end cards for the most part. Majority under $100.. Lastly if I list on eBay, would I be able to list the same card on a different site in order to get it sold quicker? I appreciate any help you guys can give.

Sunday evening, when most people are home and finished dinner (and wrong section, this is to buy sell or trade)
Good luck

I whole heartedly disagree. Too much competition on sundays.

end Sunday night always been best after 6pm . next Thurs , Friday .. Absolutely do not do Saturday ! you can do auction and start bidding at whatever dollar amount you want . if you do buy it now . you besst have your settings right , reject low ball offers automatically so you dont deal with anyone that isnt serious. I would go $10 under set price. if you list it and cross post . no problem just state it in the cross post but not on ebay . if it sells you can always cancel on ebay . best if you only do this with BIN not auction cards

I like ending auctions on Sundays. But I also look at other factors that might change bidding: Holidays, Large social events, etc...

One thing I found out, true or not don't know.... that Ebay updates it's systems/software/hardware on Thursday nights. So there might be glitches in last minute bidding? Bids not recognized/processed? Not confirmed, but it made me want to stay away from ending things on that particular day.

Right on, so Sunday nights are good to end auctions and Thursday night not so much possibly due to system updates?

So set the time for after 3pm till 8:30 latest. Sine the 3 hour difference would cover from 6-11:30. But try and see what works best for you.

Here is an interesting stat from my last month's ebay sales. I never sold a card on a Thursday. While it is a lower volume month due to my work schedule, I found that very odd.

I'd agree with Sunday evenings too, but if you're selling football I'd avoid Sunday nights during football season.
Too many eyes on Sunday night games and not on Ebay.
I really wish Ebay would let us choose how many days we want to list auctions.
I mean why are we restricted to 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days.
If I want to list something on Wednesday for 4 days to have it end on Sunday I should be able to.
Never could figure out why they limit us.

I think most people are using sniper programs or have access to ebay anytime.

I don't think the time matters nearly as much as it used to. I think ending during the week isn't a bad idea because most people are home, whereas on Sunday's they could be doing family gatherings.
