Is Nick Foles the next Kurt Warner?

So, we all know Kurt Warner’s story. Went from a nobody to the Rams, ended up winning the Super Bowl, looked to be out of it when he went to the Giants, and then resurrected his career in Arizona.

Although Foles’ career isn’t exactly similar, he went from a hot prospect to a journeyman QB and now, a Super Bowl-winning QB and MVP.

So, let’s say the Eagles end up dealing Foles to... Jacksonville. He ends up beating Bortles for the starting gig in training camp and then resurrects his career behind a stellar run game and an amazing defense. Foles and the Jags then become the best team in the AFC for a few years.

Or... the Giants decide to move on from Eli and they decide to make a deal for Foles. Giants select an immediate impact player in the draft and Foles creates a deadly combo with Odell Beckham. The Giants then become the class of the NFC for several seasons.

Discuss.

yet another horrendous comparison.... warner went from bagging groceries and playing in the arena league to winning multiple league mvp awards

and foles "resurrected" his career exactly where it began... which also is nothing like warner who went to arizona for a second run at glory

No. Kurt Warner is a Hall of Famer and had numbers to back up his entry into the HOF. Nick Foles, as good as he is will never be in the HOF. Just a hunch.

edit: Just now realized the poll and thread is a joke and not to be taken seriously. Well done.

I am not sure about this poll but Nick Foles is a better QB then alot of the QBS that start in the NFL,thats for sure.

It would be a travesty if he was not a starter somewhere next year.

He would be a great fit in Phoenix. I would love if he came to play for the Jets. I would be happy with Cousins as the new Jets QB as well.

I just hope Foles or Cousins dont throw thier talent away and go to Cleveland.

He's more Jeff Hostetler than Kurt Warner....which isn't a bad thing either.

Except Hostetler had an awesome mustache

Browns are probably taking Darnold. Don't see them trying to pick up an FA QB.

He isn't even Hos.... Hos was much better in terms of success on other teams (Raiders)

4th team in 6 seasons... DOUBTFUL... and you would love him to come to the Kets because you watch trash weekly try and throw a football there ... he isn't that good

Foles has no talent is the big picture hence why he was gonna retire... Cousins much better but that's not saying a lot. He is adequate so not saying he's garbage .. he could be ok in the desert with that D and DJ. Fitz .. he's def risen to the occasion (insert huge weine joke)

Love Sam but if they don't draft Rosen ... or trade trade to take Sam .. they're insane ...

Our local radio guys are saying Foles isn't worth more than a 4th rounder in any hypothetical deal. My gut tells me he's smart enough to stay in a city he'll never have to pay for a meal in again...
