So today after work i stopped in the LCS and ended up picking up a box of 15-16 OPC Platinum. There is one auto per box, normally, and today I got a redemption card, instead of an actual auto card. Its for a Patrick Roy 'Throphied Talents' rainbow diecut auto. The card books for $150-250. Just wanted some of your advice and or opinions on whether you think I should redeem it, wait 12-16 weeks to receive the card, and then sell it, or just sell the redemption outright at auction or whatnot? Thank you all in advance. -Nick

I’d redeem it. Personally I don’t mind the wait for a redemption and the 12-16 week thing isn’t always set in stone. Granted it could take forever like Tarasenko did but I redeemed a Teemu Selanne auto from Ice and got it within 2 weeks. It had the 12-16 week disclaimer on it too. Roy signs a lot so I’d be fairly comfortable that I’d eventually get the card.
