Nope he didn't, but the end result had people profitting on his cardboard. I just feel that Ohtani had too much hype to begin with whereas Judge was never expected to be what he became.

How can you say everyone made money on them? Whoever bought high would lose their ass. The window was just a lot smaller for Ohtani flippers. Judge could be Roger Maris or he could be Bobby Murcer or Joe Pepitone - two very hyped yankee rookies of yesteryear.

Not everyone who bought, everyone that pulled a Judge from a box or a pack, anyone who bought high will still break even and that is a lot more than we can say for most players.

Not a surprise, that's the point. People buying during hype are either stupid or doing it for entertainment value/fandom. Acting like this is a business is LOL for the most part.

He’s not as advertised. He was supposed to throw 100 and he throws 94.
Forget the hitting.....the pitching was at least supposed to be his thing and it’s not MLB caliber..maybe 1-2 years in minors will help

He really just needs to focus on pitching. Just send him to AA out of camp and let him earn a call-up. Silly to force anything on him due to hype alone.
