Default Astros Visiting Team Hotel

Wondering if anyone on the board knows where visiting teams stay when they come to play the Astros. I am assuming that it would be one of the nicer hotels around the ballpark area. Am headed there next month to catch a few games and will need a hotel so figure why not try to stay where the opposing team is staying...thanks

Double tree and Marriott out here in LA. Also try the Starbucks by the hotels. Can get them there to. I don’t do hotels. It’s home for them on the road and kinda stalking. Best bet at the field where the bus drops them off. Good luck

I'm sure Verlander will be happy to have you knock on his door. Maybe Kate will be bouncing around somewhere, too.

Creepy.

When did he say he was going to bother them?? Nothing wrong with wanting to stay at the same hotel as a baseball team. You're answer comes off a little bit like the strict parent.

Four Seasons is where the visiting teams used to stay in Downtown Houston (not sure if they still stay there or not). Its a few blocks from the stadium closer to the Toyota Center and Discovery Green Park.

They make millions to play a game. I think they can handle getting asked for an autograph when they walk out of a hotel.

I love how everyone rips people who go for autographs, not everyone likes packbpulled for their collection; to each their own right? And if it’s not harming you then why even provide your two cents about it?

Visiting teams stay at the Four Seasons Las Colinas (Dallas) when they are in town to play the Rangers. I stay there for work every September and for 4 consecutive years, it has been timed with a Rangers home stand. Last year, the A's were in town and I chatted with Sean Manaea for a bit. The year before that, the Astros were in town and I got a pic with Altuve. The year before that it was the Mariners and I snapped a pic with Jesus Montero whom I played with briefly many years prior.

OP... what's the point of this? You trying to get autos of the players as they enter/exit the hotel? Trying to sit next to them at the breakfast buffet? Just wanna say you stayed at the same hotel as them?

The best time to stumble upon the Astros team hotel was when they were cellar dwellers - from what I've read, they have a 'NO' policy at the hotel these days, particularly after winning the WS.

Read the OP carefully. The Astros players will be sleeping in their own beds in Houston.

Whoops, my mistake - point still stands where many MLB teams choose not to sign at the hotels and would rather do it [if they have to] at the ballpark.

And when they are on the phone with their family, and when eating with their family, and when going to the bathroom, and when talking business with a sponsor, and when reading the news . You’re entitled to it!

How many of those millions did you pay him? Or what percentage? That’s the amount of autograph you have earned.

Players visiting Houston better mind their P's and Q's while at the hotel unless they want to end up on Blowout's next edition of "Biggest Jerks in the MLB" thread.

The crowds for the Astros are probably huge now, a waste of time waiting outside all day for them (or chasing them around town). Go buy what you want off ebay. It'll save you the hassle.

People that trash autograph seekers are way more obnoxious than autograph seekers themselves. I'm neither. I haven't asked for an autograph since I was a teenager because I'm just not interested in asking a kid half my age for an autograph although I don't see anything wrong with it. I can tell you now though, the "dude, you're a stalker" people in here are far more obnoxious than the person asking what the team hotel is.
