Default Need help on how to sell cards in a lot

I'm looking to bulk sell about 500 cards with ebay recent sales value of $5000. Many of the cards are in the $8-25 range, with about 50 or so higher than that. Most cards are of prospects/young stars and have room to grow in value, or can be graded and flipped. Lot of Bowman 1sts, refractors, and autos (but nothing too crazy for autos). I have no interest in breaking up the lot, I would rather use the more desirable cards priced at a good value to sell them all.

I have put all of the cards and their sale values into a spreadsheet. My questions are these:
  1. There is a card show in the Boston area this weekend. Should I bring the lot there (with printed copies of my spreadsheet) and try to sell at the show to a dealer, try to sell as a lot on BO, or go a different route?
  2. I'm thinking of pricing the lot at 50% of ebay sale value. Is that too high, too low, or just right?
  3. What other advice am I missing for trying to sell cards in a lot?

Thank you for your advice. I would like to make a decision on how to do this today, so that I can focus on selling the cards tomorrow.

Take pictures or scan them all and post in the for sale section.

If you're really looking at 50% eBay, it should have no problem selling.

There's a few members on here that buy large quantities below eBay for reselling and they have buying threads currently open. Jewcer is one that comes to mind.

Good luck!

You arent going to get anywhere need what you can if you sell at a show to a dealer.

Post it on BO to an eBay flipper.

I'd actually be interested - I specialize in that price range.

Smells like fish and spam. Not a great combo.

Don't sound like the type of cards that should be sold in one large lot. Break 'em down a bit to maximize profit, or figure out what you would take for them all and do a "best offer" option to see if you get a good offer

I'd really just like to move them out together to appease my wife and put the money toward a project. I am going to post them on the B/S/T section. The "best offer" option is the way I'm thinking of going.
