Means nothing. It means an offer was accepted. Doesn’t mean it was paid for

Insane.....at some point in the future, people are going to regret having paid so much $$$ for artificially scarce low-numbered parallels.

You could just as easily argue the opposite...that the seller will regret "only" getting $400k when this reappears and sells for over $1million 5 years from now.

The market has spoken: rare Bowman Chrome Auto parallels of top superstars will rise in value exponentially with time.

Who says it was paid for?

Seller had a six figure auto decline. If this was a 9.5 probably would have sold at the $500K.

Great question! Even though Kershaw is a totally awesome first ballot hall of famer, one COULD argue that he is on his decline. I don't think he is the best in the game anymore. If you do the old who would you want for one game question RIGHT NOW, I would probably take Verlander or perhaps Scherzer. Getting older with Injuries sucks for sure.

Trout on the other hand is getting better and better every year. Mookie Betts looks like he is going to have something to say about the MVP this year. Maybe Correa or Judge too? If one was a betting person I would still have to go with Trout. Trout could be an all-time great. I could be wrong but 400,000 doesn't seem out of hand in years to come. If baseball cards go away for some reason then yeah, I hope it is really disposable income for the buyer.

Buyer just texted me to tell me he’s the one that bought it. Makes sense. Definitely paid for.

If it had never been graded, I think this would have seen a lot more action.
