Default Wow, someone is patch faking my old PC already

It didn't take long for my PC to be resold on the open market. And someone is already patch faking the hell out of my old cards.

Just one of the reasons why I stopped collecting cards. It is a little bit sad for me. A lot of these I pulled and sat on for nearly 20 years. They have been out of my possession for less than 6 months and the faking has begun.

Here is the original thread with pictures of these cards in their original state.

https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1171113

Here is the guy I sold it off to selling some of my Emeralds in a big lot. So all of these went to the same buyer.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/106-Card-Pa...p2047675.l2557

And here is the new buyer selling them off as "Improved"

https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_ssn...tified&_sop=10

My Jamal Lewis & Brandon Jacobs, and the new and improved fake patch

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Jamal-Lewis...IAAOSwQb1bCC8N

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brandon-Jac...p2047675.l2557

My Zach Miller & Mark Bulger

And the fakes

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Marc-Bulger-Stl-Rams-WVU-2005-Certified-Mirror-Emerald-Game-Jersey-Patch-1-5-1-1/132634899489?hash=item1ee1a7f421:gjAAAOSw88RbBtm~

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Zach-Miller...UAAOSwScJbBCMn

My Brady Quinn And Doug Martin

And better patches

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Doug-Martin...kAAOSweplbAsrZ

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brady-Quinn...cAAOSwURlbCC2N

It goes on and on. Dozens of my old patches now being fakes and resold by the same seller.

Really dumb if you ask me to start faking patches weeks after buying them. And doing it to Emerald Patches out of 5 is really asking to be called out.

Here is more of my PC being resold by the original buyer, exactly how they bought them. And you'' see some of these cards with their new fake patches and sold by this Titletowne8

https://www.ebay.com/sch/Football-Ca...p2046732.m1684

No clue if Titletowne8 is doing the faking or just reselling the fakes for someone else. But if you bought any of these cards, my condolences.

Yeah but they can do what they want with them. They're for their own personal enjoyment and never meant to be resold....they can't help what their girlfriend or family does with them after a personal tragedy....

The Zach Miller...what in the world, that is the worst one to me. Red, black, grey/silver? Raiders and Seahawks didn't have that color combo anywhere....

Wow, that sucks and is exactly why I don't care/collect patch cards. If I'm not mistaken Titletowne8 is a member here just can't remember the BO username.

Custom patch/altered card making threads shouldn't be allowed on BO imo. It breeds this kind of behavior. But a new thread will pop us soon and people will be...."wow that's impressive great job!"

I don't see any threads advertising cards like this. There is a difference between making a custom card and doing what this seller apparently has been doing for years.

Just imagine how many patches this dude has faked over his years. He sells a ridiculous amount of cards. Must be profitable, because no matter how much we talk about them on blowout, they always still fetch a premium on ebay. What a scum human being.

He mixed up the Zach Millers, and put a patch for the Bucs on the Miller that never was part of that team.

Thanks Grid for bringing this to everyone's attention. I hope TitleTurd gets whats coming to him. Now I know to compare anything from Certified to your posts.

There were a handful of cards from your collection I was interested in and never heard back from your original buyer. The fact he sold them in a lot for about 2 bucks apiece is unbelievable. Why even bother buying them in the first place. He would of made 3-10 times the amount listing individually, plus most of the stash would of probably went to team/player collectors. What a doofus!

For sure! They knew the best route was to break everything up. I guess after the first thousand listings lotting started to look like a good idea. They are leaving money on the table.

Yup, looks like they had some glove left over from the Doug Martin faking and figured one Miller was as good as the next to fake.

I actually think it’s supposed to be a pro bowl patch.

Titletowne8 sold some Mosley autos that had touched up edges. The person whom bought the cards contacted me. Only found out because he sent them to be graded. I actually bought a few cards from that seller prior to finding out about the touched edges.

i am not sure if i am more surprised by someone taking the time to fake patches that are selling for $4 or the fact that someone bought grid's PC for $50k+ and is now selling them in lots...

what also sucks is that it makes cards with legitimate patches look suspect, if the patch is cool....

I've got two cards with great patches on them....but nowadays, if I hadn't pulled them myself, I would think they were faked

Correct, and that's the conundrum

I thought that one looked stupid since it was the wrong colors, so looked at the link and he claims it is a pro bowl patch. I guess wherever there is a dollar to be made, there will be someone trying to scam someone else. I guess I'm just amazed that cards numbered to /5 are are being altered, to be better than they already are!

Yup, brings down the entire house of cards. Pun intended. You take an insanely rare patch card, numbered to only 5, that has never been on the market before and you just ruined it forever for an extra 5 bucks.
