Granted, better than shipping and then getting a return request, but this was within 20 minutes of me accepting.

Block at your own discretion, but it sounds like an honest mistake resolved in a timely manner.
If it was an auction then bring out the pitchforks, but I'm assuming it was a BIN since you said you "accepted". |

The guy can't afford $62 everyone should block him so he can stop wasting his money on cards.

I’m a stay at home dad and I currently don’t have $62 to spend on cards. His finances are his business and there could be a number of reasons to why he doesn’t have the money AT THIS TIME. As another member already said he was honest and open and made a mistake and resolved it very quickly, I think I could give him a pass on this one. |

Totally agree with you. I always check my finance’s. It’s happened to me now numerous times a buyer bidding on my auctions then either coming up with an excuse of why they can’t buy the card or no contact/payment at all after they win. Control your impulses people or check your finances and just don’t assume you can afford everything.

Do you think you should block him?

I would rather him cancel before you shipped than wanting to return after he gets it. Would cost you more time and money. An angry paying bidder can be far more of a headache than one who does not pay or you happily cancel.
It should be your own decision not the decision of others as to what you do. Last edited by shrevecity; 07-10-2018 at 10:59 AM. |

I block all that request cancellation or do not pay. My simple rule.

Just a quick cancellation story;
A few months ago I had a guy purchase something from me and almost instantly messaged me with a request to cancel. I didn’t hesitate and canceled the order immediately and relisted the card. The “buyer” left me positive feedback even though he didn’t buy the card. |
