I bought almost 20 cards from a seller in single auctions and I got them all, I checked and the seller forgot to send 1 of the cards, no problem, instant refund because they found the card at their home. I was in a rush so didn't check the cards too much but when I got home from a trip I was going through them and cataloging them. I saw that one of the cards had significant damage on them so I go to request a refund after messaging the seller about it. I opened a return thing on eBay but it's saying that "PayPal reports that a return should not be openedWe're sorry there's a problem with this purchase. Unfortunately, PayPal reports that we can't open a return for this item. You can try to work out this problem by contacting the seller." after I tried item arrived damaged, doesn't fit description, and is defective.
How is this possible? Am I doing something wrong? There are 18 cards total and I'm requesting a return on one of them. |

Also there is no option to return just one of them. Unless the seller agrees otherwise its all or nothing. |

Okay thanks. I didn't open a claim but he did just partially refund me the money on the whole lot for the value of the missing card. Makes a lot more sense now.
