Stopped by Ball 4 sports cards in Chesterfield VA. (SHE CHARGED ME FOR PENNY SLEEVES AND CASES FOR MY HITS MIND YOU) This place is a joke. You have to go on the weekend when the guy is there. It was a crappy day all around except for the Certified:

Yes Chipmaster. thats what pissed me off. I mean i spent like $400 in there and she charges me for sleeves and top loaders.

i've seen a couple of those certified boxes where you get two fabric of the game autos and it's shorted a hit. and i've never heard of this card shop even tho i live in Richmond. hmm maybe i'll check itout.

My LCS would throw me a bone and hook me up w/ a few toploaders and team bags after some wax busting. That's just "looking out for your customer".

hmm i wonder if that's the case for if one were to open it in store vs taking home the goods, cuz i've spent hundreds at an lcs before but didnt get an offer of any supplies or nothing

but i took it home, and didnt bust any wax in person

my shops here on Long island are kinda expensive, but they always include free cases and supplies. One of them will even see how many hits you are supposed to get and give you that many magnetic snaps to take home with you if you don;t open it there

I ran a hobby shop for a couple years during college, and I gave away toploads/penny sleeves with all decent hits, whether they bought one pack or a case of stuff.

The cost to the business is minute, but the positive customer reaction is well worth the 12 cents you "gave away"
