Zobrist ejected after telling ump players want electric strike zones

I don’t care about the comment, what I have an issue with is he went after the ump after being removed from game. Be man and do it when you have something at risk. Be a man.

The ump and Zobrist got into it earlier in the game I believe. Then again after a called third strike and ultimately got ejected for saying that to the ump. The ump did not eject him until he said that.

I'm glad we got that cleared up.

Did you watch the video or read the story?

The pitch in question was in the sixth. In between the 8th and 9th he was removed from game and then he came out and told the ump that.

That’s my point. Be a man and make your comment when it matters, not when removed

Yes, I watched it. I forgot that it was Madden who got tossed after initial strikeout. Either way, it's probably smarter to get ejected when taken out of the game than when you're in it.

I'm not sure why asking to improve how balls and strikes are called is "ignorant" petie. I would think most people are in favor of getting it right and what he's proposing could only be an improvement

That wasn’t what he was doing. He was trying to be a dick. I’m sure the players/teams have a way they can make complaints and suggestion. His tone wasn’t “hey I think maybe you could improve doing ...”. His tone was” you should not work here anymore”.

Oh 100% but we were talking about this yesterday at work I don’t like when people take shots at people who can’t really defend themselves. This happened in the sixth inning and he had st least one other AB to say something but instead he waited until he was out of the game. It’s weak

Um he did do both

And he even noted it didn’t matter cause he is out of the game.

And one more thing by coming on the field after being removed to argue he is probably more likely to get fined and suspended. He was out of the game.
