Default Whats the best quality and cheapest hobby box in 2016, 2017, 2018?

Looking to invest in hobby boxes, all prices ok, but looking for the best quality cards to make profit off of! Give year and brand, etc.

He’s saying buy single cards. 99% of the time when you buy a box you will lose money. If you buy singles you will end up spending less money, and you will get the cards you hope to pull.

A) best quality
B) cheapest

I think you are going to have to choose between option A and option B there bud.

Also (spoiler alert) if you think you are going to “invest in” football hobby boxes for a “profit,” you are guaranteed to have a bad time.

So you wanna make profit off cards. I see.

Well, your first mistake is saying you want to invest.

Football cards are tough tough tough to make any money off of. So many duds in any given product that it would take a stroke of luck to make your money back from a box. If you’re looking to make money then jump in the basketball craze with Prizm, Optic, NT, etc...or baseball with Bowman products.

Now if you’re wanting a nice, cheaper product for the sake of collecting then I’d find a box of 2017 XR. Stuff seemed loaded with some nice shots at good rookies like Watson, Trubisky, Mahomes, Hunt, Fournette, etc.

To answer your question specifically, Contenders is a 2018 upcoming release for around $100 (maybe $10 - $15 more at release this year with all the quarterbacks). 5 - 6 autos at $100 - $125 is very reasonable. I'm sure 2016 and 2017 Contenders costs more, but look into it. I'd go Contenders for a box at that $100 (more or less) price point.

You can invest/make profit by buying boxes and not opening them. Buy some contenders fotl and then resell them right away. 2000 boxes will always rise in value as will contenders boxes from good classes.
