Default In 20 years, what will be the BIG cards to have?

I'm not so much interested in the players that will be worth big money in 20 years, but what are the parallels and subsets that become the PMGs of tomorrow in regards to the modern Panini era.

It seems like the hobby simplifies itself over time, and with all of these parallels coming out of Prizm, I have to think there will be 1 or 2 (Blue Ice?) parallels that really become THE cards to have outside of the obvious Gold and Black prizms.

Some of the cards that seem to already have some solid traction:
From Downtown (Studio 16-17)
Galactics (Revolution)
Blue Ice (Prizm 17-19)
Mojo Prizm
Checkerboard Prizm (Optic)

It seems like a healthy balance of design, scarcity, and originality. But I'd love to hear what other collectors think.

Not trying to be funny, cute, etc, but wouldnt invest too, too much into anything Panini related

The somewhat newest "big" card that seems to be the most solid & safest to invest into appears to the Curry National Treasures RPA

Overall though, Jordan cards will always be the safest & most secure investment. Definitely not anything of LeBron. MJ items have, still do, and seem like they will always hold the most weight

Just my two cents...

Strongest:
galactics [&lava if they continue this parallel]
gold, blue ice, & mojo prizm
contenders cracked ice & prizm autos
optic black velocity [hopefully they keep this /39 or very limited this year]
Noir Spotlight Signatures [as long as they keep these limited]

maybe:
court kings level III & IV rc's
silhouettes rpa /25

One-offs:
2015-16 Prizm White Sparkle [these looked amazing with the white borders - now they get lost in the mix with all the FOTL garbage/shimmers, and every set having a 'white sparkle' now. such a shame, but 15-16's will always hold a special place as the inaugural set]

Some clarification on the bolded part would be helpful.

OP meant specific parallel sets, not single cards from the Panini era since we’re talking 20 years later. I assume he knows the 90s jiff already. They’re players that are Panini exclusives so think of those guys as we move into the future.

Quite a few people are saying Galactic, but I just don't see it. I own one (two?), and for the most part they seem too similar to the other Revolution parallels.

Ask a kid.

No adult would have ever thought Metal PMGs as the best investment in the 90s. They probably would have gone autographics, which haven’t jumped like the PMGs
