Default Baseball Card Dividers for Organizing

Hello guys,

This might be a strange request.

I am looking to find some sort of dividers that I can put in my card boxes to divide teams.

I would really like to have the dividers have each teams logos on it at the top of the divider.

Do any of you all know where I could buy some of these pre-made so I do not have to print my own logos/labels for each divider?

Or is there someone on here that could make some for sell?

I believe Ultra Pro makes plastic dividers but they are plain white. I suppose you could just buy team stickers and put them on there

Getting the logos would be tough.

I use these from BCW.

And a label maker.

This one is a nice one on sale at Amazon right now.

But no logos available.

(I think it's OK to post a link to BCW... Blowout doesn't offer dividers on their site.)

I am going to bump this one time only to see if anyone else may have some other ideas or something they can share.

dividers are easy. As mentioned, you can buy them or make some out of index cards.
The tricky part is the team logos. To have the logos, they would have to be licensed.

Do you think there is possibly some template someone has out there to print out the logos and then glue/tape them onto dividers.

I may have not worded this correctly lol .

I am just looking for some type of logos/stickers that has a good size to fit the plastic dividers. ?

I ordered some BCW dividers recently, but I don't have them yet. I have been using index cards cut down and I wrote team/player names on them.

Actually these have been perfect for me:

https://www.bcwsupplies.com/tall-trading-card-dividers

They stick out over the top of toploaded cards, are more durable than an index card and you can write on them OR print out a name/logo to put on the top.

What I do is use the smaller semi rigids as dividers. Half the price of the white dividers and what you can do is print out something and slide it into the semi rigid. Then all you have to do is swap out the paper that is in it when you want to change it instead of peeling off stickers or labels.

I believe both '87 and '88 Fleer had stickers in the packs that were small enough to fit. There would be one large sticker and two smaller stickers on the same card. One of the years actually had bar stickers with the team names too. The factory sets came with a ton of stickers, I think like 60+. You could probably pick up a factory set of '87 Fleer for $20, roll the dice on a sweet Bonds, Bo, Larkin, etc. rookie card and also have a mother lode of stickers.

Arthur

ETA: Heck, someone may even be selling just the Fleer stickers for cheap on eBay.

I actually had (and still have a good bit) of 1989 Fleer Team Stickers and 1989 Upper Deck Hologram team stickers. I just put them on the part of the index card sticking out...worked out well for what I was looking for. If you have a certain team you are looking for and this solution works for you, pm me and I'll see if I have the sticker. I'll send in PWE, no cost...

Do you need licensing if you are just using them for yourself? I would think it would be okay if you aren't selling a ton of them.

I use the dividers from BCW. They are pricey for the same thing an index card can do, but it's worth it because it saves time customizing the size of the index card, plus they are sturdy plastic and will long outlast a flimsy piece of paper. As for team logos, no, there are not any out there. You'll have to customize.

This is what I used to do but I got sick of the top of the index cards bending over and having to replace them

Maybe we could get some sort of trimming device to take 1\64" of an inch off of the index cards so they don't bend over when the lid is closed. Anyone know where I could get one of those?

Or you could take a page out of Poopnini's playbook and write "New York Baseball Club" but then you might leave yourself wondering if that meant Mets or Yankees?

Buy some packs of current year Topps stickers, if any left @ local Big Box, and cut them apart. A pack of ¿50?, I think, is about $5. Logos from the individual player stickers would be pretty small. Every team gets the same amount of stickers on the Checklist, so assembling all 30 would probably take 2 of the $5 packs at the most. Or send an offer to an ebay seller for 30 stickers, 1 team each, and they would probably have no problem assembling from the players that never sell as singles.

Sprinkled throughout would be stickers with 2 teams/sticker, much larger.

How about something like these? They are in black & white - no color.

Hi OP, I got your PM, but outgoing PMs have been hit or miss for me the last few days, dunno why.

But can just as easily re-post it here -

Sure. These are sold at retail in $1.50 packs and $4.50~$5 packs. Topps makes them every year. Following is just one randomly selected link from an eBay seller with a U-Pick lot for 2018. There would probably be a few people selling earlier years, didn't look.

They are also listed on COMC but would run a little more than > 50¢ each for the commons. But the images hosted on COMC would be a good way to figure out if these would work for you. Topps probably fiddles with the team logos some, from year to year.

After they get a few years old, they don't stick to things that well on their own. I like ripping a few packs of them when I run across them (not stocked at every Big Box and a little more common at Target than Wal-Mart). Then I stick them on my card binders, or my coffee cup, or my work tool boxes. Not super durable over the long haul, but could probably work for your project pretty well.

Yeah, I'll use my card-trimmer. Should work perfectly. The cuts are very smooth and nice... you won't even be able to tell the index card has been cut unless you measure it!
