Walmart had 4 Hanger packs left and they were in the 4.98 Bin so I swooped them up, So glad I did!!! I only found 2 completed on Ebay and the sellers were listing this as a SSP?

Awesome card but I don’t think anything is SSP in this years version. I think this is 1990 Topps all over again with as much product that keeps getting restocked at Walmart!

If they were in the $4.98 bin and priced at $4.98 that's Walmart's fault, not his for looking in the bin and finding what he found...

Doesn't Walmart usually put a sticker on discounted cards? I can walk into Walmart and put a Mega Box in a $4.99 bin. Does that mean that someone who comes behind me and finds it sitting in the $4.99 bin should get it for $4.99?

Yes, you can put the sticker on it and place it in the 4.99 bin. But the system will still show it as being 9.99. Unless OP "convinced" the cashier there were 4.99, it looks like he was just lucky enough to find a Wal-Mart with cheap Prizm.

First off I'm not that guy, I would have paid 10 bucks a pack if I had too, not a big deal, they were in the 4.98 bin so the guy at the check out honored the price.

Amen. I am starting to feel a little judgement here kinda sorta. You got the packs for what you paid for them and had fun ripping them. If someone came out and said I put the wrong stickers on packs and bamboozled a cashier that's one thing. Aside from that just take the man at his word. I surely don't live in a glass house and that's why I don't throw rocks. I am not calling anyone out in particular just making a statement from my 45 years of living.
Op I've cracked about 300-400 in retail and only have a Luka r/w/b. No other variations but a bunch of siver rcs to hold on to and see who pans out of this class

I just want to make sure I understand this...

1) You know the product should be $9.98. (This is a given because it is a relatively new product and no collectors would EXPECT them to be discounted yet.)
2) You found them in the $4.98 bin.
3) They were not marked $4.98, nor did they ring up at $4.98.
4) You told the cashier you found them in the $4.98 bin to get the cheaper price.
5) The likely unknowing cashier adjusted the price for you.
6) You somehow think this is ok.
7) Your response to people calling you out for it is that you "make PLENTY of money" and they "have major issues!"

Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching. We now all know what you lack.

It’s just weird. I just ripped 4 cellos from target. All I got was 3 base greens, and 1 silver dominance Reggie Miller.

If I’m not mistaken, you have better odds at hitting at least a base silver in 12 hanger packs

I’ve ripped a little under 1k of retail like you. I’ve pulled 5 base and 1 silver of Luka.

Collation is one thing. But it’s just so random. But I guess that’s what makes prizm fun
