Default Baseball Tonight is Officially Dead

A shame. I don't know whether the ratings support the show or not ... but the decision to remove the show sucks all the same.

I can remember the deal I made with my parents which forced me to finish all homework before 10pm (or 11pm some nights) before being able to turn on the TV. Kept me honest, and there was no better feeling than to hear the update jingle with a player you wanted to do well at the plate.

The end of an era. Ravech and Kurkjian were awesome.

MLB channel has been good to me for a few years now. ESPN is hot garbage, I guess though they would always be the king.

I can honestly say I haven't watched Baseball Tonight since MLB Network debuted ten years ago.

Yeah, the nostalgia part of it has me feeling a bit sad. But BBTN hasn't been good in a long time and MLB Network is so much better. RIP.

Sad, but really, who needed it once the MLB Network started.

I'll always remember needing my baseball fix every night with Peter Gammons....

Such a shame what ESPN has become. When you turn your back on your initial fan base, that’s when you’re screwed. And ESPN has been quite good at that for awhile now.

I blame Jessica Mendoza. Even though she had nothing to do with it.

I miss when the Sunday night games were announced by Jon Miller and Joe Morgan.

ESPN is going the way of newspapers and telephone booths.

Miller is the best. Even with the giants being bad, I can still listen to Jon. Him and Fleming are dynamite
