2011 totally certified fire!

So, school is cancelled for 2 days and work is cancelled for at least tomorrow due to the extreme cold. My kids had been in the house all day and when I got home from work, asked if they could use their allowance on some hobby packs that I had sitting around. Sure! Why not! My kids are really getting into football cards now and they will spend almost any money they get on cards now days (better than toys or video games IMO). We opened a couple packs of 2013 Contenders and my 12 year old pulled a /25 Keenan Allen auto. He opens another pack, and gets another auto (Zac Dysert I believe). My 10 year old gets nothing in his two packs

. I knew he felt bad so I wanted to cheer him up a bit. I had 2 loose packs of 2011 Totally Certified still sitting in a box so I told him we could each open one. He let me open first and I pull a Cam Newton Freshman Fabric auto /175! He opens his and gets a Mark Sanchez jersey card! Ugh!! He was so down on his luck that I decided to let him open another pack from a fresh box of 2011 Totally Certified. First pack, Cam Newton Freshman fabric auto /299!!!! Both my kids were happy and I was so happy that I decided to keep ripping boxes! Box 5 of 2011 TOtally Certified I pull a Gold Signature auto /15 of Mark Sanchez!!! BOO! I figured that was probably the case hit. The very next box (box6) my 10 year old tells me to pick him the thickest pack so I oblige. He starts going through the cards and we noticed a dummy card and right next to it a redemption. We look at the checklist but they are not numbered, so I just counted down the list to the 13th player. No way! I recounted again and same result. I wasn't sure if this was right so i had to do a google search for a checklist with numbers on it. Sure enough #13 Gold Signatures auto #/ 10 TOM BRADY and my youngest son was the one who pulled it. Bigger than any card I have ever pack pulled myself in my entire life!! We were just going crazy! Anyway, I doubt we will ever see the card but should be a pretty healthy amount of Panini Points I would think. lol Here are just some of the cards we pulled on this cold afternoon. just kidding....that is an awesome pull and I hope Panini honors it or gives you something comparable...that can easily be the cornerstone of his collection and a memory that will last forever

That’s awesome! Just starting to bust packs with my 3 and 5 year old boys and we’re having fun too. I think I read a thread last year of someone pulling a similar card and Panini honored it. My search skills are weak but gonna try to find it.

Wow! My kids are getting into cards as well. We did pack wars with last year's Contenders and my youngest won the extra packs. He pulled a Hunt auto /17. Fun at the time and then a difficult conversation this year.

Pull any Texans that are FS?

That would be amazing considering what the last one sold for!! I havent had any luck with my expired redemptions of bigger players. Only got rewarded
1/2 book value in Panini points. Will find out if that was worth it when Kaboom pack ever gets here! Thanks!

That's great!! My kids have collected for a few years but are really just starting to get into it really big now. I love being able to share all my hobbies with my kids! It is awesome! I don't remember pulling any Texans of note.

They do! One of my favorite products to open because of the price and ability to hit some nice cards. The only downfall for me is that it seems the corners on many of the thicker cards seem to come out with a little damage. Maybe it's just my experience with product though from this year though??

We haven't even talked about what we wanna do with any of the cards yet. I know my youngest wants to send some of his stuff to COMC to start his own account so will have to wait and see.

Haha! Yeah, the last case I ordered from them was a dud (would have been great around release though!) The case before that pulled an Aaron Rodgers /5 auto, so this stuff has been pretty kind to me so far. Just put in another order last night......
