Wow is a serious power move for the Mavs. Prime Luka/Porzingis is going to be an absolute force.

Getting rid of DSJ is a + hopefully Wes goes to the Knicks and they find some may to get rid of Barnes

A fully healthy Porzingis (w/ the addition of a few pounds) could be the most dominating player in the NBA. Luka/Porzingis= NBA Title really soon IMO.

Lee/Hardaway make sense because of the money they're owed. NY is trying to create 2 max spots for FA next summer. KD/AD maybe?

I'm a huge knicks fan and LOVE this trade. Porzingis is awesome but will always have feet/leg issues. I'm a big fan of deandre and dennis smith Jr..

Idk, Dallas just got a lot slower and less athletic. No more lobs. Better hope Porzingis can get healthy and stay healthy

I like those players too, but I prefer the upside of Porzingis. Such a unique talent.

That said, if he wants to leave, then the Knicks did well to get so much for him.

DSJ and Luka on the court at the same time made no sense. Not sure if you guys have seen what it looks like since DSJ came back. Great trade for the Mavs.

Knicks are banking on signing at least one max contract. Good luck to that franchise if it doesn’t happen.

From what I read this is nothing but a move to clear cap space and since Kristaps doesn't want to be a Knick, might as well move him. I don't think it has much to do with building on DSJ and Deandre. They might even move Deandre. So it all comes down to if they can attract some superstars this summer. They have room for two max contracts.
