First things first, did anyone else have a case or box where there seemed to be loads of dinged cards? I don't know if the cuts were bad or the boxes were tossed around but I had a lot of cards that had some dings on them.
Anyway, got home tonight and busted open the case and here is how I made out, followed by some thoughts... * 12 1st Edition Cards (although there may be more. I agree with whoever said they need to mark them better) * 6 Own The Game * 7 Hobby Masters * 5 Hall of Fame Cards * 29 Bronze Parallel Cards # to 2007 * 5 Gold Parallel Cards # to 52 * 1 Platinum Parrallel Card #1/1 (Yamon Figurs RC) * 10 Regular Auto Cards (4 biggest hits shown below) * 2 Relic Cards (Reggie Wayne Pro Bowl & Marvin Harrison) * 1 Rookie Premier Auto Card (Marshawn Lynch) * 1 Ring of Honor Auto (Peyton Manning) <-- obviously my biggest hit in the case All in all I'm mildly satisfied with my pulls. I do know that I came up very short on some rookie cards. Without digging through and getting exact counts, I am pretty sure I'm short on guys like Tony Ugoh, Jarvis Moss, Brandon Jackson, Dallas Baker, and Selvin Young. Not sure if they are SP or if there was just bad dispersement. |

Dude - you killed it in that case - I think that the Manning alone almost pays for the case - those Ring of Honor autos are super tough and usually do very well on Ebay. I also love the Lynch if you can get it out there early I think that it will do very very well.
Do you have any of the Rookie Fantasy cards?? Shoot me a PM as I need a few of them for a set. |

Need some advice on the Manning auto. If I'm going to put it up for sale, should I just let it run as an auction? Or should I put a BIN on there with a "Best Offer" option? If so, I don't really know what to ask for it.
Any help would be appreciated. |

Good point. I was leaning towards going the regular auction route anyway.
Now the question is...should I go for a 3-day starting tomorrow and ending on Sunday? Or go for a longer run and maximize viewership? |

is always nice when selling things. We already know Peyton will be starting, the Colts will be a favorite to repeat etc... I'd put it up for 3 days ending on SUN. I like ending times around 10pm eastern.

Congrats on the Peyton!! And overall that is a fantastic case! I opened three cases and did not get a Rookie Premiere and pulled a ton of low end autos, so you did well.
I would let the Peyton start at .99 and let it run for 5 or 7 days. I can't imagine there will be much, if any, competition since Ring of Honor autographs are very tough to pull (as mentioned above). It's always best to maximize exposure on rare items in my opinion... |

Congrats on a Great case.Like others have said; run auction for at least 5 days.If you look at last years Hines Ward R.O.H. Auto($300) Manning should be at least $500+.Good Luck with the auction.

or you could wait until manning has a huge game and throw it up then?
or take a chance, undercut the guy and make yours a one day-er to finish before his LOL |

List it now and have it end before his. Period. You're no longer the first to eBay, and you need to do what you need to do to get the most out of this card.
Perhaps this year the Ring of Honor autos are easier to pull? There's no way to know right now, but it's really unlikely that there will only be these two on eBay by the end of the week.

AS Jugs said. Get it on tonight and beat him to the punch. The first ending almost always goes higher plus you will be able to get a lot of views in 3 days.
Only question I would ask is the National show going to take away from E-Bay sales this weekend?

Well, I am taking your advice guys and it's going up today with a 3 day listing and ending on a Saturday. Anyone have any expertise on whether ending in the day on a Saturday is good or bad? Part of me feels like during the day on Saturday is more desirable than a Saturday night.

Insane case. If you are just mildly pleased with your pulls (and not just fishing for hyperbole), then your expectations are unreasonably high.
