Donruss Optic Pulsar - Line defects?

I apologize if this topic has been already discussed, but I picked up two Mega boxes of 2018/19 Optic Basketball for fun during my lunch break...

The Pulsars are really pretty EXCEPT .... most of them have a perfectly straight horizontal line about 3/4 way up by the players heads. Nearly all of them do (including the two Doncics I pulled).

I'd think this was a major print flaw, but what's interesting is that the player's pictures rise above the line. In other words the lines break on the players faces.

Has anyone seen these yet? I apologize but I left the cards at home on break but will post pictures later today in this thread as examples.

**** EDIT: These are the Shock Prizms NOT Pulsars.

I just found this one on ebay. Don't get me started on how "rare" these apparently are. I too have two Doncics with lines. Sigh.

Yes this has been discussed before with one member trying to claim it was a rare error and that according to them "Panini" verified and said was extremely rare. This has been debunked and was a clear attempt at manipulating the market for their own gain. It is a printing flaw that appears to be pretty common. I pulled a Select Scope prizm with a similar issue and I am attempting to get a replacement.

They were screw ups by Panini, they made quite a few this way. I'm not sure how they have the guts to release crap like that. The whole batch should've been destroyed and remade the right way.

It's about 85% of the rookies in my two boxes.

I was hoping to get a couple to send to PSA, so I'm disappointed. I guess I'll move them, but I feel like I have to disclose the lines.

Honestly I would contact Panini and see if you can get a replacement on the Doncic's at least. Last "error" Doncic sold for $13 bucks

I thought about this option too. Disappointing.

You can get replacements, but you'll have to go through the hassle of creating a replacement ticket on the Panini website, mailing them in, and then waiting awhile.
