2018 National Treasures RPA /99, /25, /10, /5, /1 OH MY!

With so many variations it got me thinking. The /99 is always desirable but beyond that which variation are you as a collector willing to go all in on?

The /25 and /99 will level out for the most part over the long haul.... anything less will carry a premium over the /99 (for most players).

RPA /99
Stars and stripes RPA /15 (or /3 with the right patch)
NFL shield 1/1s

This is all I'm touching this year unless a price is very right

The Midnight /20 is the best looking one IMO, if I was a collector I'd want the Shield , the 1/1, the jersey # RPA, the base RPA, and then Midnight. I'm not a collector though.

Not sure why people think the /99 is the most desirable. It's the most available, but I like the foil used on the /25 way more, hands down, no question than the boring silver on the /99.

Midnight is a fun new twist. I like for some of the players, it's even a different photo used than the normal RPA or has a different paragraph on the back of the card. Makes collecting more fun.

That said, Stars and Stripes is my favorite. Such a sleak design on acetate and on card autos. Love it. Love it. Love it. Hope they continue it every year for FOTL NT.

I have not seen a midnight in-hand, so will reserve judgement.

Love the look of the Stars and Stripes. But Panini messed up with the wax coating, or something. Look at how many streaky/bubbly autos there are? And we're talking big cards to boot.

Give me the plain jane true Rookie Auto Patches. Just no 1 color patches please.

I opened 3 boxes and pulled the following... (yes I was very lucky) - all from different cases -- pulled at different stores.
so I am right there with you with thinking of such a thread..

Lamar Jackson #d 25 - 4 color (serial numbered to Nick Chubb jersey#)
Nick Chubb #d 25 - 1 color (serial numbered to Lamar jersey #)
Sam Darnold Midnight Black #d 20 - 2 color

The midnight black one definitely pops and is nice with the Green metallic -perfect for a Jets card. dont have a pic of it yet.
