Is that Trout image just from the box or from a card?

Just happy they will be continuing the posters into the HI# series....hoping there will be some HOFers, though like they did two years ago with the 1968 posters....would love to to see posters of some of the HOFers that didn't make it into the original 1970 poster set (Aaron, Mays, Ryan, Seaver, Carlton, Reggie, etc.).

It's a poster box-topper.

Has Heritage always been a one and done auto/relic type of product? That low number really drives me away from the product.

I get that the SP's are what everyone chases but I'd likely be all over some hobby if it had two guaranteed autos like Topps Chrome.

Something’s making me uneasy about this thread... Oh that’s it, HeritageKing hasn’t dropped by to take a dump on the product yet.
(I found him much more tolerable when I pictured him as a crusty old fart who’s all cranky because he hasn’t had his daily 9am bowel movement yet.).

I'm not dumping on the product as I LOVE HHN, but let's be honest. There will be PLENTY of this to go around. If pre-sale prices are good, I will jump on board, but if pre-sale prices are $$$$ out of the gate, I will be happy to let the initial hype die down and pick up boxes later on the cheap (like last year)

Everyone should do the same. I bought the HHN and Update last year after release for much less than presale prices. It was MUCH cheaper and there was an unlimited supply for a couple of months. And we all know production will go up even further. So the case deals should be just as good, if not better, this go around.

And that was with Ron n Juan having amazing 1st seasons in the bigs. If Vladdy/Eloy, etc. don't do what they did the prices around BF should be juicy junior, real juicy.

100% yes. I remember getting both update and HHN during a "wave"

If the top RC make HHN and are SP (701-725) rather than base I think it would help keep wax prices higher as there would be more value in the base/SP set.

There were years where hits were not guaranteed (but typically were found).

Yes, if topps does that then we could see higher prices that sustain (like 2015 HHN)

Too many variables at this point: Will Vlad be good? how about the other rookies? Will topps screw up the checklist?

I hope this is the case since the stars were SPs in Heritage this year.

No one cares about an SP of some 8th string reliever. The good players should be SP

Then people will complain about the good players being too much to buy for a glorified base card

There were many, many, many, cases to be had for just slightly more. Cases were flooding the market and ripe for the picking. Plus, towards the end of the year is when all of the coupons get dropped on ebay making the purchases that much better. I don't care what they presell for, I ain't touching it till a week or two after release. Prices don't rise till spring training, so there is no worry about not striking while the iron is hot. Hard to lose.
