Default Why Did I Open 2 Blasters of Opening Day??

I have no idea why I decided to open two blasters of 2019 Opening Day tonight. Maybe I just wanted to chase the base cards of the top young players.....yeah that's it.

So my two blue foil parallels were Jake Arrieta and Shane Bieber. I got a couple of mascot inserts and a few good name base cards....then this happened. In all my years of collecting would I ever expect something like this from a blaster of Topps Opening Day.....not huge value but still cool as hell!

Not a bad auto to get!

Thanks for the look!

Not sure yet. I might just put it under my pillow tonight! I'm kidding.

I don't know. I'm tempted to redeem it just for kicks and grins. Don't have many of his autos so I might add it to the PC. I'll let ya know though.

How cool is that something major where you would least expect to find it. Last year was my first auto ever from opening day, not as good as yours but Harrison Bader wasn't bad.

That is great. There is nothing like a huge surprise from opening. Congrats on an incredible hit...

Congrats! Nothing like pulling something cool from an inexpensive set. I pulled a 1/1 Sean Doolittle plate from a $30 hobby box last week. I only bought it because I was fed up with the crazy markup prices on everything else the shop had, and wanted to open something.
