Default Redemption Returned to Sender

Hello everyone. I'm reaching out to see if this has happened to anyone else.

I redeemed and nice heritage dual auto from 2018 HHN last year around September. I received an email from Topps in February that it was shipping.

The tracking # that topps provided didn't show anything even after weeks later. So I sent Topps an email, no response. One week later I send another email, no response.

Today, when I checked the tracking it shows that there was attempted delivery three times back in early March. Then it was sent to a Fedex facility and now it is back at Topps in Pennsylvania.

I called Topps customer service and explained what happened. They told me to update my shipping address for redemptions. I told them the address is correct, and I don't need to update it. They told me to re-enter the same address, hit save, and the card will be shipped back out.

I said don't you need to know the redemption code #, or the tracking number, or the card I am looking for? the guy said no, just re-type your address and you will be good. Slightly skeptical.

I haven't had issues with a redemption but with FedEx on deliveries. Do you live in a weird area? I have a corner duplex and the address is one street but the entrance is actually on the other street. It happened on multiple occasions with them when there was significant time between them making deliveries.

This happened to me with a redemption from Panini. I was out of the country and apparently FedEx only held my packages for 3 days before returning them to sender. A few days after they received the card back, Panini's CS requested for me to confirm that my address was correct and they re-shipped the card the next day.
