Toronto has been pretty hit or miss lately while the Bruins have looked like a solid Playoff team all year long, so I'd say you're quite sane to think that.

Blues win 2-1 after looking flat and without urgency for the first two periods. As billed, the game was a goalie showdown and defensive grind between two very similar teams. And Binnington's first ever Playoff game is in the books as a victory.

Sharks looked very strong against Vegas tonight.

Completely different from last year's Game 1, which Vegas won 7-0.

Not sure anybody in the West is going to be able to stop the combo of Burns & Karlsson.

Jones is the Sharks' biggest weakness, but made a huge save on a Reilly Smith breakaway up 4-2 with about 3 minutes left in the 3rd.

you should have been able to watch it. Pens-Islanders was NBCSN, Tampa was on CNBC or something. Check all your NBC channels if you're looking for a specific game. I was flipping back and forth

What an opening night. Except for the late game, all were close games. I could I even see all the game 1 losers from Wed ending up as the series winners.

I think tonight will be a snoozer relative to Wednesday.
