Default BUYER BEWARE: Trimmed PSA-10 2000 Stadium Club Derek Jeter Co-Signers on Ebay

This auction for a PSA-10 2000 Stadium Club Co-Signers dual autograph card of Derek Jeter and Rey Ordonez was just recently listed on Ebay by seller markbrunell here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-Stadiu...MAAOSwj8VcXNJ~

Worthpoint has two prior sales, one as raw back in July of 2013 here: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthoped...-co4-461132451
and one month later as a PSA-9 here: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthoped...2000-465010501

The card is not serial numbered but the two signatures are a match.

I don't need to use circles or anything, you can clearly see the two bad corners at the top on the raw card here:

A month later the card had been graded by PSA and given a 9 here:

And now the same card is being sold as a PSA-10 here:

Don't know anything about the seller, just pointing out yet another trimmed card graded by PSA.

Look at this seller:

All trimmed cards lead to PWCC.

Will PWCC investigate who consigned that card?

When was that sale date? Maybe brunell can get a refund from PWCC since they sold the 10...

A couple of things I noticed here:

1) It has a new serial number with an older style flip (i.e., not a Lighthouse holder). That means the card was submitted to PSA by a big submitter.

2) It was once sold (or appears to be sold) as a PSA 9 by PSA.Gems, as seen in the description from corndog's second Worthpoint link. That is a Kevin Burge account, one of the more notorious criminals active in the industry.

For the newer members, or members who don't know the name "Kevin Burge" - he was really in on the ground floor of the patch faking, scam game...with a colorful and shady history going back 10+ years.

PWCC owes markbrunell a refund.

Yup. Then PSA will be paying out PWCC to hopefully de-certify this card. Slabbing or selling altered cards might start getting expensive for the hobby superpowers.

What's the difference in value between a PSA 10 and an altered card?

PSA is going to have to raise grading fees to cover all these payouts.

I collect Jeter, and I think that card would still bring in $100-$150 in an altered slab. The autographs are still good.

If PSA can't detect a trimmed card here, why trust them with anything else?

The implication here is that this card may have been trimmed on two separate occasions, right?

PSA is taking a lot of serious credibility shots around here recently. If nothing else, I'm hopeful that it causes some (or at least one) of the resident PSA cheerleaders to put their pom-poms down for a bit.
