Default Tony Parker retires

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...etiring-age-37

Unfortunate that he is not retiring as a Spur....at least kind of follow suit like what Paul Pierce did.

Still remember when he was a quick 19 year old kid. Took on a lot and handled it well. And was tough as nails. Was a pleasure watching him play

He had one of the best floaters ever! It was unstoppable.

Gave us Spurs fans too many great memories to count. Was hoping he would retire a Spur. He's up there with the best point guards of all time.

A little surprised he didn't stick around for next year and return to the Spurs, then retire. Probably wouldn't have made much of a difference, but he has stated he wanted to retire as a Spur. Great player though and a bit sad to see the Duncan, Ginobili, Parker trio all retired.

Yea. Was hoping he would stick around next season with a 1 day contract and go out as a Spur. Helluva career. 1st ballot HOF for sure.

Spurs VP of basketball ops Brent Barry probably advocated against Parker coming back to sign a one day contract

That's a lot of people's theory.

Wish it would have happened, though.

The end of an era

Man was he good.
