Default Malavon's Star Trek Breaks

Hi all - I'm a big Star Trek fan and have a lot of sealed product from about 25 different releases by Rittenhouse Archives. I know I like seeing what others have broken so I thought I would make a thread to share the breaks.

I've done a few Youtube breaks as an experiment, which are fun, so I think I will keep doing them. I'll post the links and summary pics in subsequent threads for any that are interested.

It could be a few days, or a few weeks between posts based on my schedule, but I hope you enjoy.

Broke 3 more boxes tonight. All really solid, got some great hits in each.

Very pumped that I hit one of the rare relics that are not in the archive box.

Break video (should be done processing soon): https://youtu.be/1mH0uQNUQUo

Opened up boxes 7 through 9 tonight, here is the video for any interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OcE2qE4_bE

Next three were great as well. Pulled a really unique Spock wardrobe with a piece of his cuff, and an great sketch. Closeups of the sketch are in the video.

Here is Part 4 of 4; the last 3 boxes in the case: https://youtu.be/YtwP9kG5h3o

Another 2 strong boxes in this set, very happy with Spock and Bones.

If anyone watched the break videos (got some hits from Youtube, not sure if any are from here), any suggestions/criticism for the future? I want to make these fun to watch and not horrible.

Next up is probably either another case of Star Trek Beyond or some loose boxes of Quotable TNG; either tomorrow night or later in the week.

Randomly broke a lone box of Discovery tonight, sweet relic. My girlfriend's first break and her favorite character.

Relics can be a bit stale sometimes (looking at you, Marvel UD and Topps Star Wars). But I've always been a fan of Rittenhouse's approach.

Rittenhouse doesn't put out as many relics, but they were generally worn by the actor, as it says on the back of this one. Unlike some other companies that use "source material".

I don't think they've done so recently, but they used to post pictures of the costumes that were used, like on the following page: https://www.scifihobby.com/products/...k/quotabletng/

Went back in time 14 years today and broke a box of Quotable Star Trek TNG. Cool break, though not a lot of variety. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjJsCxTVPrI

The video is a bit long; I captured the front and back of each card for any interested, as the Rittenhouse website does not have scans.

Happy with the results, all the costume relics are good, and Wesley Crusher/Will Wheaton is a good pull since I don't think he has signed for any Star Trek sets since.

Been busy with work so no breaks for a while. Decided to go with another TNG Quotable box tonight: https://youtu.be/slTt8V0cjMY

Another solid box, happy with the results.

Nice breaks so far...I personally do not watch the videos. I am a read a list or see the pictures kind of person. Good luck on those older boxes, I would be pumped for Dorn and Wheaton's autos out of random boxes.

That's why I post both . I get some hits on the videos and enjoy making them, but some just like to see the hits.

TNG Quotable is a bit of a blank break to open with all the packs of just base, but the checklist is great. Relics of the bridge crew are great, and there are only a few autographs from the checklist that I would not want to pull.

Tonight's break was Complete Star Trek TNG Series 1.

For one of the worst Star Trek releases in terms of value (unless you get super lucky), this was a very good box!

Finished breaking a case of Star Trek Discovery: Season 1 today. Seems about average compared to the other cases I've seen. Not pictured is the mirror card, a full set of inserts, and all the filler common autographs

I was really hoping for a Burnham, Isaacs, or Yeoh but its a decent case for the price.

Default Star Trek Inflexions Box Break

Started breaking my case of Star Trek Inflexions. First two boxes today. Very fun set to open! It's like a treasure trove of goodies. I was happy with the contents of the first two boxes.

Here is the video if you are interested in watching them opened:
