Not many would agree with you on this. The Rams' offense failed them in the Super Bowl, not Donald and the defense. In fact, it was 6 - 3 until the Patriots scored the game's only touchdown in the fourth quarter. Donald is the best player in the league. Who's to say Donald won't have a Taylor or Sanders-type career? He already won DPOY twice in a row, along with DROY. Defensive tackles don't get 20.5 sacks. We're seeing something that's never been done. Well: some people see what they want to see. Carry on.

Yes! We're looking at a special player right now. Barring injury, he'll be the best defensive tackle ever, at the least. Then people would claim they knew he would all along. They should stop lying. I've been a Donald fan from the beginning, and even I didn't think he could do this.

I agree with your sentiment. The players determined this. Although they got 100 - 10 wrong, they got the top 10 right, especially Donald.

Third, Aaron Donald is a defensive tackle. And he's getting 4-5 forced fumbles a season? How is this not an offensive juggernaut on the level of Deion Sanders and LT? How many defensive tackles can do what AD does? The man is playing at the level of Reggie White in 1987. Only difference is Reggie did it versus scab players.

I thought Mahomes should be number one and i’m A Tom Brady/Patriots guy. Donald is awesome and deserves to be close to the top, however Mahomes makes a bigger difference for his team than anyone.
