Default Harrison Ford Auto’d Card Value? - Allen & Ginter X

I’m trying to figure out an appropriate value for an autographed Harrison Ford framed mini that I pulled from a pack of 2019 Topps Allen & Ginter X. It’s the rarer gold signature and numbered to /5. I currently have it on eBay for BIN $3500 OBO. Any help would be appreciated. I’m a baseball card guy and don’t know much about the non-sport stuff.

looking at past sales i would say in the range of 1500-1600

i would list it in a 7 day auction now. harrison ford autographs are coming down in price as he's signing a ton for topps and leaf and also private signings. sell it now before the value drops even more

Do you have any estimate of value?

I agree. I doubt there are five people out there who would be willing to spend $2k plus on that. Be the first sold.

Maybe $800 max?

His Star Wars autographs (unless its a 1/1) average around $1,000 and the non-Star Wars ones like Leaf are a few hundred less.

It is a nice looking card so maybe it will get close to SW price. Definitely no where near your asking price.

For reference, I got a $1700 offer, so I suppose that's one idea of the floor.

A lot less than a Star Wars or Indy card. Is that a scratch through the signature?

disagree (respectfully) with this.

what you say about his star wars cards is true. this, however, is not a SW card. A&G has a nice following, so that will help the price. also, i (and am sure there are others) am not a SW fan. therefore, i would prefer this card over any of his SW cards. which could also help cause a price bump over them.

to me, worth more than a SW auto since i cannot stand SW and would not buy a Ford one of them.

No worries, I don't know anything about A&G. That $1700 offer is surprising!

Edit: Also, sometimes I forget he is in things other than Star Wars!

Sounds like you've got a very reasonable offer, especially for a card with multiple dinged corners. Take it.

I'd take the $1700 and run, he's signing more and more, and with each release of Stellar 100 more Ford autos will come out. I was thinking $1k range.

Honestly, the sig looks horrible. He used a gold fat marker on a small card.
I know the card is worth something - there are guys (on this board even) that have incredible Harrison Ford collections but the sig is pretty bad IMHO

I'd accept this as fast as possible. If you don't, I'm pretty sure the next guy that lists one /5 will, and then the offers you get following the sale will be less.

Take the $1,700 offer. Probably $800 too high.

I think some of you don't know the fervor of Allen & Ginter master set collectors. Much like the regular Topps sets, there are some deep-pocketed collectors who will spend like there's no tomorrow to complete the A&G sets. But I do think it's more for the base auto set, or even as low as /25 or the red /10s. Does it trickle far enough down to the /5 autos? That I'm not sure. There is a point of rarity where people won't even bother.

But I'd say $1700 is fair.

Agree with Ted. I will add that if this were from regular A/G I'd hold out for more but since it's from the niche Ginter X, I too would take the $1700 and run.

I also agree that $1700 would have been hard to pass on especially if it was from a respected buyer. I think this is probably an $1800 card but I have no problem taking a little less from a buyer that I know there will be no problem with. GLWS

It’s at auction now, so we’ll find out one way or the other.

Interesting... so was the $1,700 offer outside of Ebay? If so, that would've been even more of a no-brainer to sell without fees!

so this is a current stellar card BIN:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2018-Star-W...QAAOSwE~pdRvDs

under $1k. to give you a little color on your SW market, his auto was chased heavily until stellar came out in 2018. In stellar 1 and 2 over 200 fords have hit the market, thats more then had existed previously. the influx drove the prices way down. I bought a stellar 1 card at $2600. Wish I had waited. You're going to get a better offer from the A&G crowd than the SW crowd. All in all not too many fords actually out there, but SW collectors are dwarfed by sports.

I don’t think so. OP can clarify but if I remember correctly they listed it BIN first, then changed the listing to an auction.

I thought so, but I didn't see it listed in their completed items.

You can move a BIN listing to auction from the Seller Hob page. Not sure if this is only for eBay store owners or for everyone.

I didnt even notice that it was Ginter X, not sure the Ginter collectors out there treat this as "proper" Ginter
