2018 Topps Holiday box with 2 autos

So, I found 5 2018 Holiday boxes yesterday but the staff was super confused about how to do the price match, so I just paid the $20 a pop for all 5 and planned to go to my neighborhood location to have them fix it and refund me the difference.

Well, a buddy who had found little luck locating these by him decided to take them off my hands for the regular price, and he ripped them at my house.

First box was nice enough, as it has a Bryce Harper relic (white patch, but still a star relic) and he pulled 1 base of each of Acuna, Buehler, Ohtani, Glyber, Soroka, Albies. Then, he opens the second box and... 2 autos, back to back, in the same pack. I was in shock. It's almost like the cards were stuck together and not supposed to be in the same pack. Just unreal.

8 here and no autos. Being a dodger fan walker buehler auto is sweet. Out of my 8 tmy toughest pull has been gleyber rc

9 here and 0 autos. Though I did hit a Metallic Acuna and 2 Metallic Torres

Forgot to mention the kicker in all this -- when I sold him those 5 boxes (at cost), I was sitting on 20 total boxes. So, I picked out the 5 most damaged or "worst looking" ones -- the boxes I would have and was planning on keeping for myself to open -- since I knew the better-looking ones would be best to keep for flipping. He didn't care, after all he was going to rip them minutes after arriving.

So, I sold him what I would have opened myself. This after going 0-for-7 on autos in the boxes I did open. I just have to keep reminding myself that a friend got this awesome pull experience and I should be happy for him, haha...

(also, it's now taking all the willpower in me to not rip some -- or all -- of the remaining 15 or so boxes I have)

0 for 17 on Autographs here. I have pulled 9 base Acuna though (6 of which should get psa 10)... so no complaints here. Congrats to your friend on a great break!

Good stuff man!!! Looking at baseball cards on that tablecloth would give me a massive headache though
