A lot cleaner and simpler it seems compared to the Prizm design. I actually like both and will be buying both.

Wish this would come out before Prizm. And $100 a box is a pipe dream. I'll buy 100 boxes if I can get it at that price.

I haven't bought Optic before, what is the recommendation for box type? Hobby vs Retail vs Cello vs Blaster?

Probably going to depend on how much the price gets jacked up on Hobby.

Hobby will always be the preferred format, but it all depends on the price. Retail versions depend on what type of exclusive parallels are released.

Yep... Crown Royale has an SRP of $100/box and Blowout has initial pre-orders at $175. Based on the popularity of Optic, I wouldn't be shocked if we see it pop at $200/box

It's crazy, because I have bought hobby at the LCS and got crap!

Bought retail and had GREAT results from this past year (2018/19 Prizm and 2018/19 Donruss Optic basketball).

I think I will stalk all the Walmarts and Target when the product comes out! lol

$200 for sure. msrp and 2019-20 hobby do not mix.
