Default What’s the greatest 2nd-year card of the last 30 years?

I’ve always been partial to 1993 Bowman Mariano Rivera. Rivera in the Yankees pinstripes is a huge improvement over his nondescript 1992 Bowman card.

Why is Trout's 2012 heritage so highly desired? Was it a short print?

Do you want this thread to be about 2nd year cards or about Mariano Rivera. Either way, if you like Rivera and want a really nice card that he's wearing Yankees pinstripes I suggest the 1996 Leaf Signature (I like the Silver version) https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...mariano+rivera

A lot of people hated the 1990 Topps design, but I always thought it was kind of cool and that Griffey really pops. Thumbs up.

1987 Topps Bo Jackson. His 86T was just so non-descript.

But this was over thirty years ago, believe it or not.

I love the '90 Griffey. Probably tied with 2012 Topps Trout, although I also like the '90 design.

Well no he had heritage minors.

He had very very very few true RC cards and all of his 2nd year stuff has exploded this year. When people can’t afford the best the next best starts pushing up.

I drew this card in 7th grade for extra credit in art class. I'll have to look for that drawing next time I visit my parents.
