Default Topps Chrome Update buyers ... you’re welcome

For those of you getting autos out of every two or three boxes of Topps Chrome Update... you’re welcome.
I’ve purchased 17 boxes over the past week all from one location - grand total of ZERO autos. That’s 119 packs, with autos being listed as odds of 1:40.
Good times.

Yup. They're on a slightly thicker stock.

That’s why I’m usually hesitant to buy up retail. Sorry OP

Yep, 10 boxes of mega chrome update, and about 20-30 blasters of update. not a single auto. 3 bought from in store, 7 bought from target online. Unfortunately I have my last two coming tomorrow night. 10 years ago when I collected i was rolling in autos. Since I started a year and a half ago I have yet to pull one in retail and haven’t purchased any hobby. And I’m prolly spent a grand on retail.

Also in these ten chrome updates. Not a single Vlad RC

To be fair, the original poster deserved the bad luck, and more, since he likely didn't even pay for the boxes.

This hobby can turn into an addiction in the blink of an eye. If you can't afford to play dont ruin your life by stealing baseball cards. So dumb.

This has the ability to become an epic thread. How in the blue hell did you find this article and relate it to this poster, Scott?

Uhhhh, he basically lives in a DC suburb. Cost of living is very high. Assistant principals make nothing. I presume you were just joking, but I wanted to make sure.

I know several principals, assuming assistants make less. I guess it's relative. To me 100K in NoVa isn't a helluva lot of money.
