it's a sabermetric thing, the 2 hole gets him more plate appearances over the course of the year. Plus with Rendon and Ohtani behind him he'll be tough to pitch around.

They need lots - just to catch the Astros and the As, not to mention the Yankees. Rendon helps and shouldn’t have production issues.
