Default 2018-19 Panini Status Pursuit Die-Cut SSP

Ok, I know I'm way late to the game on Status. After completely shrugging the product off I've become really interested in it. I picked up this Oladipo case hit for pretty cheap tonight.

Has anyone figured out the print run on these yet?

PS - If anyone finds the Oladipo Status...Status parallel /4, please let me know!

One of my favourite products last last two years. Great looking card!

It would be nearly impossible to find out. Since this was retail only, you'll need to find someone who busted a Hanger, Blaster and Fat Pack case of this stuff to find out. Both from Wal-Mart and Target.

FWIW in 17-18 there were 10-15 copies of those.

Thank you! That actually sounds tough, but doable. Looks like I'll be digging through the box breaks section this weekend.

Anyone here bust any cases of this stuff?

awesome card. I spent a lot of cash on Status trying to find one (I didn’t lol).

Safe to say <25
Probably in that 10-20 range

Nice! You know I love this stuff. I'm glad you started a thread on it. There were hangers, fat packs and blasters. Each had exclusive parallels (i.e. aqua parallels were only in fat packs) and there were red and blue parallels exclusive to Target and Walmart respectively. I can't find any information as to whether the Pursuit die-cuts were exclusive to a particular format, or if they were equally distributed across the entire release. I think you would need to know that information first. Does it help determine print runs if we know that each base card has a 1/1 and a gold /10 parallel as well?

While we are discussing the Pursuit die-cuts I'll take a moment to share the two I have. I recently picked up the Jaylen Brown and I was fortunate enough to hit the Ingram. Anyone have any insight into what the design of the die-cut represents?

I also need the Jaylen Brown Status /7 parallel to complete the rainbow. Anyone have any leads on a copy?

These cards remind me 1991 skybox with some added style and foil for the shiny heads.

Yes, a retail only release. You can find the product through blowout.com as well though.

Really like these as well.

So far, I've picked up the Curry, the Giannis and one of the Luka's. Fighting the temptation to not try and do the full set.

New product idea: insert cards that fit together as puzzle pieces.

I've been away for a while but I love to see this. I've long believed that there are hidden gems in some of these tertiary products but the hobby sort of needed to catch up to recognize them. So we had the #galacticboyz, what should we call this? The #Pursuit.. uhhh pursuers???

How about Pursuitors???

I haven't been able to look at much info yet, but 2 members in this thread indicated they broke a blaster case and received 3 in each one. I was under the impression they were case hits, so that was a little surprising. If they aren't in the other forms (packs and hangers - and I'mnot sure if they are or aren't), the math might still work out. Take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt here... I'm thinking out loud.

https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1280209

Anyone pull any of these in a fat pack or hanger?

Are there 2 versions of this card, one in a home jersey and one in an away jersey. I thought I saw 2 of some players but I could be wrong.

Man, that's sweet!
I really like this product, especially since it's retail only. They didn't stick Curry's auto in hobby boxes-they're in here somewhere!

There are two versions of each rookie card, 101-150 are Walmart/blue package exclusives (Meijer carries them too), 151-200 are Target/red package exclusives. That looks like the Target version.

I can't remember this kind of numbering for a set ever being done before, where 2 different sources are required for complete base set.

I pulled a Lebron and sold it for like $80. Last time I saw one sold it was $300 plus.
