While I think Bowman Chrome usually has a few too many colors to keep up with, I wouldn't mind seeing Finest go bonkers with 12-15 different colors and print runs. I was combing through some of my older Indians cards this weekend and 2006 Finest was a fun set. Found a stack of Sabathia refractors Green/Gold/Red/RedX/Blue. Fun to see all side by side.

I always enjoy this product, but I'm sure it will be way overpriced, as usual. Each case tends to have 1-2 decent autos in it. It should not be a $130+ product, which I'm sure it will be listed for.

Back in the day when this stuff was $85-100 depending on the year, it was fun. Resale value is also horrendous, if you're looking to flip.

It's a gorgeous set, ton of fun to open with all of the colors but you have to go in with the expectation that it is simply ripping for fun, at $80 that's great, at $120 and above not great

Love some of the cards, but the value is horrendous.

Yep

Always love finest.

But it is one of the worst rips in the whole hobby

100 plus cost ? 150 to a lot of buyers

Product should be 75 max

Need to make it like revolution

Do 2 auto per case and have funky inserts and short prints

Get price down to 60-70 a box

I feel like we've hit that point where a lot of guys are priced out of the market, or very close to it. This product should not be this expensive, given the historical ROI.

I'm not talking about the "can't afford it anymore" guys either. A good number of collectors that I know with significant expendable income have reached the point more of "why am I doing this" with cards, specifically with sealed wax due to the crazy pricing. The fun of ripping wax as a hobby is definitely losing some steam.

What's up with Topps' obsession with vertical nameplates?

First Flagship, and now Finest....

Yep... I’ve bought a case of this two years in a row. Probably lost half the money I put into them and only hit a couple nice PC Cards (Yadier Molina, Tatis, and Eloy autos this year)It’s very hard to move the low end autos and color. Also, the case hits used to be pretty cool with the finest greats. Not so much anymore. I mean, it’s not the worst product out there, but it’s far from the best.

I would not buy Finest until it returns to the 96 and 97 formats.

It's been 23 years...

I agree. Either that or get rid of the brand.

Finest as a brand seems to have run its course. It doesnt serve any particular niche.

Topps recently changed their policy of releasing checklists early. I would expect it tomorrow or Friday at the earliest.
