Floor of $200... this might be the first Dutch auction to not sell out.

Am I remembering correctly to say this was $120 last year?

I recall that I got 3 boxes and basically ripped them and broke even on them. Didn't hit any major hits but was able to grind my way to even. Overall, the experience was fun but I had to put in work to make sure I didn't lose money.

Did contenders sold @225? Select sell out at 200?

Contenders hit the floor of $200 before sellout

It did sell out within a couple minutes of hitting $200, though. So demand was pretty strong at or near that price.

Guessing same should happen with Select. Most will wait for it to hit the floor then there will be a rush buying at that price. 3300 boxes is a lot for this, though.

XRC is the only thing that would intrigue me from this.

XRC's though are only going to be in the hobby format, it didn't really mention if XRC would be in FOTL.

The floor is way too high on this IMO. Nobody driving this rookie class at all. Kyler pretty much won OROTY by default.

Are they going to sneak Zion in this?

Then no.

$200 is such a ridiculous price for this stuff. Pretty much ALL football products these days are overpriced to the gills. I also bet they will somehow sneak points cards in the boxes like they have in other FOTL releases. FOTL is a shadow of its former self.

Hobby Select that is a winner, XRC's of Burrow, Young, and Tua are gonna be crazy hot, and the draft is actually good QB heavy.

They were in last year. Because of the dutch-auction style format and opportunity to sell the FOTL at premium prices, I would think Panini would keep them in FOTL this year.

The only thing holding them out of FOTL does is make people pay less for FOTL and more for hobby.

Also, it says right on the Panini website in the OP that you can find XRC's falling 3 per case.

Since these are sold individually not in case format that would imply hobby would have these as hits not FOTL.

I hate this new format. This was one of my favorite boxes last year, but you were getting 60 cards at $120 with the FOTL exclusives. Now it's down to less than half the cards at 25 and the price is doubled or more at $200-$500. I could even get behind the dutch auctions if it was the old format of a regular hobby box with the FOTL exclusives added. I've just had way too many dud boxes and these checklists are just entirely too big for me to throw that much at it with this format. I think i'd rather just have a regular hobby box at the same price, personally.

I would think it being listed in the FOTL description would imply they’re in FOTL. Even though they’re not sold in case format, I doubt they’d put that line in the description if it’s only in the hobby release.

You’re giving panini far too much credit.

How did numbered Prizms fall in last year’s FOTL? This year it looks like 6 numbered Prizms per box. Content looks good, just wish they hadn’t raised the price. These were VERY popular last year.

Too many people are spending on basketball. Crappy draft class for NFL this will hit the floor but I’ll pass.
