Walgreens 2020 Hanger Boxes

Quick question for those who have found these. Are they in toys , candy, checkouts or other area. ?

I'm lucky enough to have a route where I can hit 6 Walgreens on my way home if I have enough time before kid pick-up (2-3 distinctly different areas too). Haven't found 2020 yet, but yeah, always in the toy area.

Still haven’t seen any around me in Chicago or surrounding suburbs. Still the series 1 from last year, series 2, topps chrome and heritage they restocked

If you still see 2019 product there, I've been told they won't reorder (for 2020) until its gone. My two local stores still have over 6 hangers of 2019 series 1 and I'm not that interested to first buy those up.

I guess I won't be getting any then. I ain't taking one for the team to buy up those '19 S1 hangers. lol

I wish that was the truth! My 3 local stores have been empty for over two months, I think the people that work there get suspicious every time I walk in and out and don not purchase anything!

I just went to 4 near me in So Cal and found a total of 5 2019 series 2 and 2 2020 Series 1 boxes. Bought them all of course!

Hit 2 today in Southern Illinois.
no great Yellows to note,
the regular cards was 90 percent the same pack.
Atleast there as a Trout in both.

I was on my way to Denver and stopped at 6 Walgreens. Found one at my last stop.

I run a 6 store route in the suburbs south of Denver. I found 8 boxes yesterday between 3 stores (2,4,2).

I hit up 2 in Ft Collins, 2 in Loveland and 2 near Federal Heights. Only box I found was in Loveland. I did skip afew, weren’t on my side of the street so it wasn’t worth its to me lol. Glad you were able to find some!

EDIT: The Walgreens I skipped were south of Federal Heights if I’m not mistaken.

Good luck! I’m going to do some looking around soon as well. I did get a Bo yellow so I prob should stop while I’m ahead lol.

I just google mapped all the Walgreens in my area. Found another 5 stores I didn't even know were there. I guess I need to map out my drive tomorrow!

There is like 50 stores in Denver and the burbs, quite amazing!

None in the 3 stores in my neck of the woods in Southern MD.

The only baseball I found was in one store that was selling those old bundled packs of 100 cards and an old pack for $4.99.

Did they have a hanger where it at least says $9.99? That would show that atleast at some point they did have them. Also I've noticed another good indicator is if they sell the "prime packs" (repack) for 8.99, then they are more likely to get the good stuff in.

So basically what I've found from scavenging for 2019 Update
-Stores with full racks of other stuff typically will not get any of the new stuff so options are either buy out the store or move on to another store
-Some stores just flat out don't carry Topps products some either have theft problems or it's not worth the hassle
-Driving isn't necessarily worth it, try calling ahead. I know some of us are introverted but this is a super easy phone call and can often lead to them ordering more cards if they don't have any.
