And we are live!
7 cards for week 1. With a week long purchase window. Were the AAFL a week long? The 7 card bundle currently only showing 6 cards... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

AAF wasn’t a week long. I didn’t even notice they were a week long when I ordered.

The print run for week 2 was smaller, as expected.
The seven-day ordering clock is bugging the heck out of me. Why not five days? It's strange that the next week's games are being played, while LAST week's cards are still available!

Well, it looks like the XFL Topps Now set will be complete at 30 cards. Compared to last year's AAF Topps Now set, the XFL set was printed in smaller quantities and features rookies who are more promising, in my opinion.
Even though the '19 AAF set had 43 cards, only four of them had print runs of under 200. On the other hand, the '20 XFL set has 14 cards with print runs under 200, just shy of half the set (add Joe Powell, and half the set has a print run of 203 or less).

I was pretty happy with this set, planned on seeing it all the way through regardless. Mostly because the XFL seems to have staying power, unlike the AAF.
I'll pick these up again in season 2! |

Four players featured on XFL Topps Now cards have been drafted by NFL teams. All four players have rookie cards in the set (PJ Walker's cards have the RC logo, but he did have a card released in 2018). It's probable that most of these guys will go from XFL stars to NFL backups, but you never know.
Quarterback PJ Walker has gone to the Panthers. May ride the bench for a while, as Teddy B. should get the start and Will Grier is there as well. Quarterback Jordan Ta'amu has gone to the Chiefs. Looks like he'll try to compete for second fiddle with Chad Henne. Linebacker Edmond Robinson has gone to the Falcons. He has the second-rarest card in the XFL Topps Now set, with just 156 copies. Tight end Donald Parham has gone to the Chargers, and is maybe the most promising prospect of the four. Starting tight end Hunter Henry seems to be injured often, and Parham will have the chance to make an immediate impact with the Bolts. Only 181 of his cards were printed for the XFL Topps Now set.

Well this is the second "pro" football league that ended in the last 12 months.
