Default misleading ebay titles

Is anyone else annoyed that ebay allows sellers to sub title names or cards their items aren't and you accidentally buy one? Well I did and sent a simple message and return request. As a seller I would accept the return if I had a misleading subtitle. well I was refused and declined with no message to two messages sent. I could've said it was damaged and guaranteed my money back but it wasn't damaged. ill get my money back but I have to go through my bank and its a pain. I don't ask or return cards at all unless theres damaged not decsribed or shown in picture(s). Card was a draft blue refractor with sapphire as a sub and was in my search tilted 2019 bowman sapphire.

.huh?................ No link to the item or anything? You also make it seem like you are going to try to get your money back without returning.

However if the item was not as described then that is the same claim as a damaged card. Just file a return claim plain and simple.

BUT DIGGING AROUND I THINK YOU ARE THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO BE BLOCKED.

Not sure where sapphire would have come up at all in the search. If it did that was an Ebay search thing not the seller. Ebay search will sometimes include items that are similar to what you are searching for. Ultimately it is the buyers responsibility to know. Now if the seller had put Sapphire in the title I would agree with you, but there is nothing I see misleading about the sellers title. You are totally in the wrong here.

Just might feel this needs to be added for some info.

Also left a neutral on Ebay where he appears to have wanted to change his address after payment was made and seller cancelled order. That seller could have had the neutral removed. The OP was wrong for that as well. There is another neutral where he admits he messed up but still gave the seller a neutral.

OP - what happened here?

neutral FB left
Had a issue where I messed up but seller left feedback as if I scammed/tried too

this is the FB left by the seller
Buyer needs to monitor more closely his/her eBay account refund provided

where / how does that imply you tried to scam?

I like how he admits in the feedback he could have committed fraud by claiming damage when it was not.

oh and the lot he shorted me. funny. re read what he posted and see how he second guessed what he sent and how he said he caught me. that seller shorted me on the lot.

I love reading the board and how other people blast someone.

I thought I posted the item. I typed in sapphire and the seller sub titles and it showed up under sapphire. how am I wrong? the seller should get away with it? ok.

there is no mention of SAPPHIRE in title OR description OR picture of the card, and there is NO subtitle in the auction. this appears to be on ebay / you rather than the seller

There is NO mention of sapphire in the listing? If there is where is it? YOu just made a mistake man up and appologize to the seller and ask him to remove the neg that is what you need to do the seller did NOTHING wrong. If it showed in the search that is an Ebay search issue or your own search issue the seller did nothing to cause it to show up on their own.

There is no subtitle on that listing. If there was it would still be showing. It also does not show in the item specifics.

WTF? fraud, I asked the seller for a refund and didn't say it was damaged! I hardly ever return anything and I buy tons of cards. and if you want to block that's perfect cause you probably list cards like that one was.

ebay search adds some weird stuff to results. PLEASE try this and get back to me.

go and search for "charles haley"

one of the first results you get is

title
"Rayfield Wright autograph 8x10 Photo W/ Coa"

description
Rayfield Wright autograph 8x10 Photo W/ Defend the star COA .Condition is Brand New. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.

photo in item is a picture of rayfield wright. no where in that whole thing is any mention of charles haley. if i bought that, how in the heck can i blame the seller for that showing up????

that is what happened here to you.

not sure how that happened but I can assure you it was subtitled. ebay error? couldn't tell you. I wouldn't offer 45 on a draft blue.

I won a Jose Rameriz chrome auto and same thing but was lindor.

That is excatly what happened often the search will show items others have searched for when also searching for that item In your case members who have searched sapphire have likely also searched for the player so Best match picks up both.

sorry, but i would not reply. getting into a direct back-and-forth with someone on ebay is rarely a good thing. i just let the process run out and only communicate with ebay directly.

Nope not going to get into a pissing contest with a potential problem bidder. It never works out well for the seller.

If I were the seller I would call Ebay and have it removed and your account get a strike on it. So you are not willing to be a man and admit you made a mistake. This was not the sellers mistake.

Just like where you left a seller a neutral because you wanted item shipped to a different address. That is against Ebay rules that seller could have easily had it removed. He was in the right for canceling.

You need to be a man and own your mistakes instead of punishing others for them
