Default 2002 Absolute Memorabilia Absolutely Ink question

It shows on the checklist that many cards from this set are short printed to various print runs. So my question is are they actual serial numbered? I was thinking about buying one that’s supposed to have a print run of 100 according to the checklist but it doesn’t have a serial number anywhere on it. Thanks in advance!

This is purely anecdotal, but seeing as how 90% of active BO members don't know the difference between Donruss and Fleer, I will answer.

I am pretty sure these were released with print runs after, but were not hand numbered nor serial numbered on card. Ie. you got Beckett the next month and then saw the print runs.

Don't expect much from the average inbred here, if you are looking for input. They can't count past their last complaint that a Topps base set blaster didn't make them rich.

Well that escalated quickly...someone must’ve been told “no” tonight.

Assuredly you are one of the inbreds. The only mistake I made tonight was reading the drivel masquerading as authority that best encapsulates much of this forum.

No, just an occasional reminder of how so many people in this industry have zero knowledge. You would understand.

Anything to contribute to the topic at hand, beyond the perfect illustration of my initial point?

I don’t think anyone is forcing you to be a BO member. Maybe you can find like minded collectors with a ton of knowledge elsewhere if it bothers you so much. I clicked the thread to gain the knowledge and saw the response of some bitter human being and couldn’t help myself. You responded with what appears to be knowledge only to prove you’re a clown by calling BO members “inbreds” which added no substance to the response to the OP’s question whatsoever. Thanks for the laugh.

I also answered OP's question. You did not, as predicted.

So back to being a dejected follower with your $10 eBay listings. Don't let the proverbial door hit you on the way out during the next non-frenzy period.

At least OP got an answer before thosebackpages and soxfan infiltrated the thread with their mindless drivel.

Oh, that hurts!!! 😂 I didn’t come to answer his question, AGAIN, I clicked to gain knowledge and found a reply by someone who’s life must be so miserable that they had to prop themself up on a pedestal and call other members “inbreds.” 😂 Remember, I quoted and responded to YOUR post, not the OP’s. Keep up!

I’m fairly sure you’re right. I kind of recall that was the case not only for that set, but several other similar Playoff/Absolute sets as well.

Great looking and fun cards, of course they also had great parallels, down to 1/1s.

Found this that mentions the only serial numbered cards were the Gold and Jersey # parallel.

According to Donruss, many of the cards were printed in far fewer numbers than the others although none are serial numbered. The set was partially paralleled with a Gold set (serial numered to 25) and a Number set (serial numbered to the player's uniform number).

Agree with the above - here is a link (and take it with a grain of salt but I've usually found the info here to be accurate) that shows the print runs of those that were considered to be short-printed. Only four of them have a print run of 100 but those that are would not have a stamped serial number (only the parallel), so hopefully that matches up with the one you're considering.

Why would “the car diq” be on BO anyway, don’t you have an automotive forum you can join.....

Good job stroking your own ego and insulting the entire group at the same time. Do us all a favor and close down your account and move on. We really have no use for your bad attitude around here.
