I think I have a complete set, and they are all slabbed. They are buried away pretty deep though.

What are they going for these days? I would want to make sure they are worth my time to look for them.

I wasn't trying to be funny. LOL

Many years ago, I scanned the cards that I wanted to bury deep so that I wouldn't have to disturb them through the years if someone wanted to see them.

I'm not sure that I have all 121 cards, but I have scans of 120. If anyone wants to see one in particular, just let me know. Here are a few I have:

Wow. A 1988 Topps Cloth set is quite an impressive achievement. I know of one other person that has one but other than that just finding a person with more than one is usually rare.

I wish I had grabbed a Glavine years ago. That card has shot through the roof.

Simply amazing. The '88 Topps Team Leaders Canseco/McGwire is among the most expensive card of either of them from the 80s, and I would be willing to bet 90%+ of the collecting community don't even know what the cloth cards are.

They run roughly $20 a card. Some of them like Mark McGwire / Jose Conseco, Tom Glavine, Pete Rose and Ozzie Smith and go for over $100.

I’m just going to throw it out there since you said this set was buried deep. Would you be willing to sell it? I can go, $3,000 for what you’ve got if you’ve got 120 of the 121.

Hmmm...

When I bought this set from a guy many, many years ago, I knew nothing about it. He told me it was exceedingly rare. We were friends, so I believed him.

My memory doesn’t serve me as well today as it use to. I seem to remember discussing something regarding the Glavine card, but can’t remember for sure. Of the 120 cards I have scans of, Glavine is NOT one of them. I sure feel like I had it in hand back then though. Darned cobwebs are getting thick.

Welcome to Blowout. You have made the common beginner's mistake of posting a Buy/Sell/Trade thread in the Hobby Talk section. Please refrain from doing that in the future. There is a dedicated space to post threads like this so people looking for discussions don't have to wade through them.

If you have all of them except for Glavine, I’d still be interested. I’m dying to put this set together and you are the first person I’ve come across that has the majority of them. Would you be willing to part with them? You’d be doing me a HUGE favor which is why I’m throwing out the price I am

I definitely have 120 of the 121, and I believe I picked up the Glavine later on, but since I don’t have a scan, I can’t be certain.

I wouldn’t want to part with these at this time for $25/card. If they are as rare as it sounds, I should probably do some research.

Do some research and name a price. I’m a serious buyer. Do you have any doubles?

Here's an example of the backs of these cards, for those that might not know already:
