Default Big PC Milestone

Hello,

Thought I'd share a huge milestone in collecting the man himself, Martin Muursepp.

Recently managed to obtain one of his rarest cards from ebay for 99 cents:

1996-97 Collector's Choice Miami Heat Team Set #MI8 Martin Muursepp

Had been looking for this card for years without ever having even seen a picture of it.

With having this card now I'm only missing one card: his 1997-98 Ultra Masterpieces 1/1. Maybe It will pop-up someday, somewhere

Some more pic's from his rarer cards:

That is amazing. Congrats and thanks for sharing. I have a side pc of Michael Curry, and I am also down to one card. Hope you find yours and make this collection complete.

Funny how certain easy cards can be just the opposite

Awesome, for those of us that don’t know, what makes the collectors choice card so rare?

I have no idea the production numbers on these but they were much less produced than the normal base cards from CC that year. I have the Bulls team set myself

Thanks everyone,

Fellow blowout forum member OddityCards actually had some very useful information:

The "Team Set" version of the 96-97 CC base card was from a very limited and regionally released retail set, available only in Walmart/Target type stores. Also when the season was over, back stock was typically destroyed for business write-off purposes or re-purposed into junk card packs.
