Default May Pickup Thread

Yes it’s 12:08 and yes my first pickup technically arrived in April but I started last months pickup thread, so why not make it a trend.

I’ve been wanting to pick up a bonds and fell in love with this 11x14. I’m going to end up framing it soon, but really stoked to add it to the collection.

Sure do! It’s his 73rd home run when he set the record.

I’m embarrassed I didn’t know that. Deleting my account, breaking my phone and going in hiding for a few years. So long

People don't realize how hard Bonds autos were to get when he played. After he retired and coached, he signed a lot more than he did as a player. But that Bonds auto is beautiful and the fulls name Bonds, not the BBS he did when he would sign the occasional autograph at Pac Bell Park.

If you look, there’s still not much out there of his. He’s always been tough, and I don’t think it’s changed as of lately all that much either.

Just think how different the picture would be if it happened in 2019. Instead of being able to clearly see the faces of fans, all you'd see would be phones.

Awesome picture, by the way!

Thanks @LVDan! That Arraez I ended up just ended up biting the bullet because I have 8 raw ones that don’t look perfect... even this PSA10 is generous, if I have to be honest

That is awesome. I have some of the Kellogg's 3d sets from later in the 70's but that is super cool.

Thanks, and I'm glad it didn't cost a lot because I really cracked the front. It looks better in person though.

Before you drop ~$75 on a PSA-10...consider ungraded. This one cost me $0.99 + shipping at auction.

Mostly PWE buys, having fun collecting again
