Default Box finds

Since I am now working from home I decided that I would spend my lunch break looking through some of my older boxes. It was like Christmas day. The finds...

Trae Young Optic (3)
Trae Young Optic Holo
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Optic Holo
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Optic Blue /49
2018/19 Optic Lonzo Ball Green /5
Mitchell Robinson Optic Blue auto /49
2013/14 Prizm Brilliance Silver Kobe
Jackson Jr, Fox and Collins base Prizm (4 each)
Lamar Jackson Prizm
2007 Bowman Chrome Joe Thomas auto
2017 Topps Chrome Update Bellinger
2012 Bowman Chrome Eduardo Rodriguez variation (2)
2017 Bowman Draft Chrome Luis Campusano auto (3) auto green and non auto gold
And the biggest of all probably... 2013/14 prizm Dominance red (Target exclusive) Lebron

This was so nice because the way basketball has gotten lately, I can not convince myself to buy wax at the current prices. Looks like I'll be digging through some more boxes tomorrow. Thanks all for looking.

Am I the only one on this forum who doesn’t bury hundreds of dollars in boxes and forget?

I get giddy when I find a $3 card in a common box myself, it’s pretty picked over

How are you finding trae young holos when he was a top 3 pick last year? That just doesn’t even make sense.

The holos when I put that optics way were selling nowhere near what they are today. When I put that away they were selling for $20-$30.

I must be a hustler...because if something is $20-30 I would be storing differently or selling.

Wait to sell the Lamar Jackson once the season gets going. Could easily be a $100 card or more.

With the rise of base cards, Kobe, and The Last Dance, even lesser stuff few would track is now great sale bait

Same here. Anything from $20 to $10,000 gets the same storage care for me.

I did about 10 boxes of 2019 Sapphire with Houdini. I hit a couple nice cards of the big 4 but I'm not sure what else is in there. They are all still sealed in the mailers in a corner of my office. I also once had boxes shipped to my mothers while I was overseas. Most were from the Baseball Card Exchange. I was overseas for a year. Anyhow, I forgot I also ordered from Larry Fritsch. My mom had stored the Fristch box in the storage shed in the backyard. My Uncle found it while he was cleaning and said they looked expensive. All 1973 Topps Series 5 packs(Schmidt RC). Ha

A $10,000 card and I'd be buying a bank vault.
